General remarks
The course is meant for students and academics who use Internet materials on a daily basis and would like to organize their knowledge of the resources they use and the legal status these materials have. It is also a course for those who plan to join the group of scientists publishing their work on the Internet and want to learn about the mechanisms that can facilitate this process, as well as for educators using open resources to improve the quality of their teaching. The Internet is rich in content; its resources must be used in a legitimate way however while the users need to pay special attention to their quality. This is what we offer: information on high-quality resources and methods of using them. MORE about it in the introduction.
If you are a YUFE student who wants to pass the final test of the course and to get a certificate and 2 ECTS points, you should create an account for Moodle (or log in to the NCU account and only after logging in go to the test).
The course was devised in 2012; it was modified and supplemented with new data in 2015. Version 4 was made available in 2021. The course is open to everyone under the Creative Commons CC BY-SA 4.0 license.
